Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport various materials, including soil, rock, sand, and gravel, to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck bed at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members to coordinate logistics.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Hazmat and Tanker preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of local Fresno and Central Valley roadways.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor troubleshooting is a plus.
