Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials (sand, gravel, asphalt, dirt) to and from job sites.
- Load and unload materials safely using forklifts, skid steers, or hand tools.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery details.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading duties and extended periods of standing.
