Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on various construction and industrial sites.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle condition.
- Navigate local routes in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and dispatch teams.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy equipment.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor and handle heavy loads.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
