Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload various construction materials including dirt, rock, and sand.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding load status and route changes.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with applicable endorsements (Tanker, HazMat preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating dump trucks.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and driving heavy machinery.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
