Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and demolition debris to designated sites.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently using winches, skid steers, or manual labor as required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while navigating local and regional roads.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding job progress and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy hauling equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads and performing manual labor.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
