Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, gravel, or debris to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance standards are met
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload materials efficiently using proper equipment techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Adapt schedule to meet project deadlines while maintaining flexibility
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of local Fort Wayne routes and area
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
