Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related equipment at construction sites and material yards
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials following safety protocols and weight regulations
- Navigate diverse terrains and weather conditions throughout the Indianapolis metro area
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for timely deliveries
- Maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting common issues
- Strong spatial awareness and depth perception
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
