Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport in construction, demolition, and landfill sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and techniques
- Manage route planning to ensure timely deliveries
- Complete daily paperwork and digital reporting accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of local Fort Wayne and regional roadways
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
