Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or waste to designated sites
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized work areas at job sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of Hudson County roadways and traffic patterns
- Physical ability to climb in/out of cab and handle heavy equipment controls
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to adjust shift start times within 5am-10am window
