Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on designated routes adhering to strict schedules
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain daily logs
- Implement student management protocols ensuring a respectful ride environment
- Respond to emergency situations following district safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Maintain clean and orderly bus interior before/after each route
- Attend mandatory safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger/School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to punctuality and route reliability
- Must be 21+ years old with clean driving record
