Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Adapt routes based on traffic conditions and delivery priorities
- Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure timely unloading and compliance
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Maintain clean and organized truck interiors and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Pittsburgh metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and early mornings
- Basic math skills for load calculations and documentation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
