Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and specialized hauling equipment on diverse terrain
- Load/unload materials at construction sites, mines, and distribution centers
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently through Colorado Springs metro area and mountain corridors
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and site supervisors
- Minor equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Proven dump truck hauling experience in construction/agriculture
- Familiarity with Colorado mountain roads and weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
