Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and quarries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each assignment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient material delivery
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Pittsburgh area roadways and construction zones
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
