Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Florida and Southeastern US
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (A license required for this position)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience OR recent CDL graduate
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
