Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA roadways and hazardous materials endorsement preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and overnight trips
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
