Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided dump trucks to transport aggregates, soil, and construction debris
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each assignment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with dump trucks
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of local Raleigh-Durham area road networks
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and work in varied weather conditions
