Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, soil) to job sites
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries and material accuracy
- Maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Navigate complex urban and construction site routes efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience in construction/transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical exam
- Familiarity with Seattle area routes and construction site protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic equipment troubleshooting knowledge
