Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and hauling routes
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials while adhering to all safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines and optimize fuel usage
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members for seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain clean and organized truck interiors and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck operation experience
- Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification within 30 days of hire
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and surrounding regions
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in outdoor conditions
- Excellent communication skills and time management abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
