Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport various materials such as dirt, sand, gravel, and asphalt.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload materials at construction sites, quarries, and distribution centers.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to optimize routes and schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
- Must possess a current Medical Card and a clean MVR record.
