Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or soil to designated sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for efficient operations
- Operate specialized equipment (e.g., dump truck controls, hydraulic systems)
- Load/unload materials safely using proper techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- DOT medical certification
- Knowledge of San Jose Bay Area routes and construction sites
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
