Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites and industrial routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment handling techniques
- Navigate Columbus metro area routes efficiently with GPS technology
- Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch for timely deliveries
- Maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Columbus traffic patterns and industrial zones
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
