Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, aggregates, and debris to project sites
- Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations while hauling loads
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Operate specialized dumping mechanisms (end-dump, side-dump, etc.) with precision
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance issues promptly
- Support winter operations during inclement weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and substance screening
- Familiarity with Omaha metro area and surrounding routes
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic equipment troubleshooting
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
