Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across Honolulu and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our remote-friendly digital reporting system
- Collaborate with dispatch and site supervisors via remote communication tools for real-time coordination
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations for waste disposal
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support emergency response operations during inclement weather or project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years
- Ability to work independently while maintaining remote communication with dispatch team
- Proficiency with digital navigation tools and mobile reporting applications
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Honolulu's traffic patterns and construction site logistics
- Pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screening
