Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, soil, and debris to job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and techniques
- Plan efficient routes while navigating urban and construction environments
- Communicate with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules
- Maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance issues promptly
- Complete daily paperwork including delivery tickets and time logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and construction site safety
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
