Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Load/unload materials at construction sites and landfills
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area and surrounding counties
- DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
