Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport in urban/construction environments
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicles and report maintenance needs
- Assist in site-specific loading/unloading operations when required
- Represent Northwest Heavy Transport with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (3+ years driving history)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass rigorous background/drug screening
- Proficient in navigating Seattle metro area traffic patterns
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Physical capability for climbing/lifting up to 50lbs
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
