Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report mechanical issues to maintenance team
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support fleet management through GPS route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California weight regulations and route planning
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
