Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Navigate diverse terrain and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments
- Knowledge of local Virginia Beach routes and regulations
- Drug-free certification and willingness to undergo random testing
- Strong communication and time management skills
