Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight on dedicated routes throughout California and the Western US
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all DOT regulations
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance issues before and after trips
- Build strong relationships with warehouse staff and receivers
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient navigation and route optimization
- Submit timely delivery documentation and exception reports
- Participate in quarterly safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated routes preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights/weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for pre/post-trip inspections
