Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) safely and efficiently
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and construction teams for timely deliveries
- Manage load securement and unloading procedures at job sites
- Respond to weather and traffic conditions with flexible routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for field repairs
- Strong spatial awareness and navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
