Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and landscaping supplies
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to minimize delivery time while ensuring timely arrivals
- Coordinate with site supervisors and construction teams for seamless material transfers
- Secure loads properly and maintain clean vehicle interiors
- Document daily operations using electronic logging systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, including dump truck operation
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in navigating GPS systems and digital route planning tools
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load securement techniques
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
