Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport dirt, gravel, asphalt, and construction debris to job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with foremen and dispatch for efficient routing
- Secure loads and ensure proper unloading procedures
- Basic truck maintenance and minor troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area and surrounding regions
- Experience with construction site navigation
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
