Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain daily vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain clean, well-functioning equipment through regular upkeep
- Support emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of Louisiana roadways and construction zones
- DOT medical certification and drug testing clearance
