Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) between job sites and disposal facilities
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections documenting vehicle condition and compliance
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and time documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
- Collaborate with dispatch, foremen, and site supervisors for efficient operations
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Strong knowledge of local Irvine/Orange County roadways and regulations
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments
