Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment to transport construction materials
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for seamless operations
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of materials at job sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of local Lubbock-area routes and terrain
- DOT medical certification and physical ability to perform job duties
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Background check and drug screen required
