Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment on construction sites and haul routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials with precision while adhering to safety protocols
- Navigate challenging terrain and weather conditions typical of Alaska
- Maintain clean and compliant vehicles per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient operations
- Report maintenance issues and participate in equipment upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and physical fitness tests
- Familiarity with Alaska's road systems and weather challenges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
