Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Director of Future Technology Strategy to architect our trajectory leading up to and beyond 2026. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between emerging technological trends and our long-term business goals. You will be responsible for identifying disruptive technologies, forecasting market shifts, and defining the strategic roadmap that positions Apex Future Systems as a market leader in the coming years.
As a key member of the executive team, you will collaborate with R&D, Product, and Executive leadership to ensure our innovations are aligned with the future landscape of technology.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Foresight: Lead the development of the 2026 strategic roadmap, identifying key technological advancements that will impact our industry.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and regulatory trends to inform high-level decision-making.
- Roadmap Execution: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate long-term strategic vision into actionable product and engineering milestones.
- Partnership Building: Establish partnerships with technology incubators, academic institutions, and industry thought leaders to gain early access to breakthrough innovations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex future scenarios and strategic initiatives to the board of directors and executive leadership team clearly and compellingly.
- Innovation Management: Develop frameworks for evaluating, testing, and scaling new technologies internally before market release.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic Management, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, product management, or technology consulting, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of successfully defining long-term technology strategies and delivering on complex roadmaps.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of emerging tech trends, including AI, Quantum Computing, and Web3, specifically within the context of 2026 and beyond.
- Leadership: Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and manage diverse teams across multiple time zones.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
