Apex Horizon Inc. is seeking a visionary Director of 2026 Strategic Infrastructure to architect the systems that will define the next decade of enterprise computing. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between today’s AI capabilities and the autonomous, quantum-ready infrastructure required by 2026.
As a key leader in our Engineering division, you will set the technical roadmap, oversee high-impact architectural decisions, and ensure our platforms are resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and lead the implementation of scalable microservices architectures capable of supporting autonomous AI agents and next-gen data streams.
- Quantum Readiness: Evaluate and integrate emerging post-quantum cryptographic standards and quantum computing frameworks into our existing infrastructure stack.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define the technical vision for the 2026 transition, collaborating with product leaders to align engineering goals with business outcomes.
- High-Performance Engineering: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, code excellence, and continuous delivery.
- Security & Compliance: Spearhead initiatives to enhance enterprise security posture in anticipation of evolving cyber threats in the 2026 landscape.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the primary technical liaison between engineering, product management, and executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale engineering teams.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python, Rust, and modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- AI Integration: Proven track record of integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI into production environments.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and mentor high-performing engineering talent.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on solving complex, unstructured problems in dynamic environments.
