Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes in and around Kansas City.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and organization at each stop.
- Provide exceptional customer service and verify delivery accuracy.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in local delivery or logistics is preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and delivery management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or overtime if needed.
