Responsibilities
- Secure and transport cargo safely to designated delivery points in the Seattle metro area and surrounding regions.
- Inspect box truck before and after each shift to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Practice safe driving habits and adhere to all FMCSA and local DOT regulations.
- Perform light loading and unloading duties or coordinate with dock personnel.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
Qualifications
- Must own a reliable Class A or Class B Box Truck (GVWR 26,000 lbs or less).
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or reckless driving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and insurance coverage.
- Experience navigating the Seattle traffic patterns and bridge tolls is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
