Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries within Southern California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with warehouse staff
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route monitoring
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Strong knowledge of Riverside County and Southern California routes
- DOT medical certification and compliance documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities
