Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various destinations.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages and freight while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients at delivery sites.
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure they are clean, operational, and properly loaded.
- Unload cargo carefully, ensuring no damage occurs during the transfer.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and inspection reports.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional geography, with the ability to navigate effectively using GPS.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to travel to Florida for extended regional routes (if applicable).
