As a Delivery Driver for SwiftRoute, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our customers receive their packages with a smile. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, customer-focused, and ready to hit the road.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations in the Chicago area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally and respectfully with clients.
- Accurately manage delivery documentation and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B with Air Brake Endorsement preferred, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy.
