Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and food orders across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer communication records
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with minimum 2 years' experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans geography preferred
- Food handling certification if delivering perishables
