Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to customers throughout Sacramento County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and timeliness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Reliable internet access for scheduling updates
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for cash handling and tip processing
