Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations across Chicago
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve issues promptly
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs to ensure operational readiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while operating delivery vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to coordinate pickups and resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to operate various vehicle types (vans, box trucks, or standard delivery vehicles)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone technology
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
