Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders throughout Raleigh metropolitan area
- Verify delivery addresses and customer information using GPS and mobile technology
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for weekly payroll processing
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and address inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and minimize delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with minimum 2 years clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Reliable transportation to/from starting location
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
