Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Philadelphia area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Obtain customer signatures and provide exceptional customer service during every interaction.
- Report any vehicle damage, accidents, or delivery issues immediately to management.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily route targets and customer delivery windows.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and route calculations.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to the designated delivery depot.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
