Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Washington DC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery tracking
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and traffic patterns
- Reliable transportation to and from our DC distribution center
- Pass background check and drug screening
