Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to Manhattan locations using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle payment processing
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update real-time tracking systems
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and NYC parking ordinances
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles in urban environments with heavy traffic
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent customer service orientation and professional communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Smartphone proficiency for using delivery tracking applications
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
